Adirondack Students Learn Robotics from West Point Cadets in Essex
On February 4th, Dr. Kendall Williams and three cadets from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point came to the CFES Center in Essex, NY to conduct a robotics workshop with 40 students from six Adirondack schools. They talked with students about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) fields and various college and career paths.

Students Explore Health-Care Fields
Students were able to visit a number of stations staffed by representatives from CVPH and High Peaks Dental to get an overview of the jobs of physician assistants, lab technicians, EMTs and IT technicians, as well as the fields of radiology, nursing, respiratory therapy, dental hygiene and pediatric dentistry.
College For Every Student Connects Rural Students to STEM Learning Experiences and Career Resources
