Peer Mentor Training Workshop/New York City Schools

CFES Director of Mentoring Missy Wilkins will facilitate a Peer Mentor Training Workshop for Scholars from New York City schools on Friday, October 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Fordham University's Lincoln Center Campus. The workshop will be held in the Pope Auditorium. This workshop is for schools that did not attend the training on October 19 at One World Financial Center.

This training is designed for new peer mentors in grades 7-12. Each school may send up to 15 students, who must be accompanied by an adult. The group may include a few experienced peer mentors who will help lead the training and work with new mentors from their school. Adult attendees should plan to participate as well.

To confirm your school’s participation, RSVP to wilkins@collegefes.org or sign up in person at the Fall Planning Training Workshops (September 23 or September 24-25).

The agenda and other details will be emailed to schools.
